Often when Im enjoying someone else's music, movie or artwork I find myself reading the credits to see who was involved and I also often find myself being curious about what instruments , cameras or software were being used to make it . AI Software
I have no problem in the morality of using AI software to help me achieve my visions in music, video and script writing .
In music I use it in the same way I would use a virtual instrument or sample pack . I still write all the songs myself in terms of notes , chord structure and lyrics , its extremely important to me that its " my song , my output , that Im in control of it and not the AI and most of all that its conveying the emotions behind it where its coming from "
I use ACE Studio to help me achieve the vocals , it is a piece of software which you place the lyrical notes in using a midi keyboard and then type the lyrics into those notes . Using the tools in there you can get great expression and it allows me to find the tone of voice Im looking for in a song .
I use Suno to help get elements and I use Landr for mastering .
To me AI is an extension to the plug in tools listed above of which I use many , it's essentially an infinite musical plug in and I don't see it as any different to hiring an expensive studio and session musicians . It helps me achieve my vision the way I want it to be in a budget that I can afford .
I think a lot of people are afraid of AI , and rightly so in some forms but I think as a musician and content creator I am still using my creativity and I have always loved the latest technology . This is just the next step of technological evolution , we have been here before , the invention of the internet , digital cameras , digital film cameras , virtual instruments and many more things . There will always be people against it , but for me its a great thing that has opened up new worlds . especially in terms of video and visuals which I have been involved for many years .
